We are made of the same, you and I 
From the same oblivion we originated 
In the same oblivion we live, unaware of our purpose

And yet, we meet, we love, we fight, we part
The same fear in all our hearts 
The fear of loneliness and abandon 
And yet to accompany each other we find hard.

I have no faith in touch 
None lasts, not that of skin

Only when souls touch 
Do lives truly change 
You can no longer part
be renewed or estranged 

Sometimes i close my eyes 
And all events places disappear
All i see is an ocean of darkness
Floating through currents countless souls appear

No events, no accountability
Just the force of the flow as such 
Each soul following its course alone
That is- until souls touch. 

In the touch of souls 
A history of journey is passed on 
You then truly know where someone's coming from
And an unrelenting understanding of the other is born. 

Whether obstacles part you once again
Or whether the directions of the currents deflect
Once your souls have touched 
A friendship in eternity is in effect. 

I dont know whether we will hit forever
Or crush under the weight of emotions
Of circumstance, bitterness or pain
Will we too fall apart thanx to situations? 

I do know that Time's a funny thing
That those that say goodbye sometimes meet again 
And those that promise forever 
May part and in memories remain.  

But irrespective of togetherness in the here n now
I'm a part of you, and you of me 
And wherever our currents land us 
We'll retire into reality together and peacefully.
