Final Fantasies, by . QUEENIE .
|
broken glass falls
people all around
faceless with emotion
the preacher reads
and still the glass comes down.
umbrellas and black
cloaks and sorrow
ravens crow
and our souls stand still
this moment forever in time
erased only by
the future.
when nothing looks good
the flowers wilted
a forgotten grave
visited by those
who forget
what it means to live.
and still the glass from the sky
cuts the faces
of those once loved
and now torured.
the words fall on empty faces
the places that were
memories
fading fast.
umbrellas cannot protect
from the pain
the blood soaked ground
soaking up the rain.
where are you now?
where are you now?
you never came...
you never would
you were never one for
confrontation
so you're at home
away from the destruction
lost inside yourself
its such a shame
you cannot see
that parting ways
is how it's meant to be.
delusional destruction
proptery of nobody
roaming free
oh what you long for
i cannot be.
