Crisscrosses, by cerindipity

Our paths have crossed
and finally, you are beginning to take notice.
We meet in the snow, and exchange few words.
As we descend to different scenes, our speech lingers.
Our paths have crossed
and four long months later, there you are.
I drive many minutes just to see you.
As we descend to different scenes, my heart fills with warm
heat.
Our speech lingers, and our lives change.
You are taken by the lovely one.
My speech lingers, yours stops.
What she doesn't realize is that
Our paths will cross again. |
