desire, by turquoise petals
|
i feel this heavy heart
roses
soft within
dust outside the winters lodge
the leaves have died
the skys turned smokey
broken waves against the coast
everything is cold
the world is frost within
her soul an unquenchable desire

This is a good poem (and I'm not just saying that!) Your work is good. |

I can't believe someone gave this a 2! I guess some people can't see how flawlessly you manage to paint a picture that eliminates the need for so many words. To me that is one of the hardest and most rewarding ways to write poetry, and I think you do it wonderfully. |
