A sad day has come to pass
When the question must be asked
Will you ever come for me?
A tear of sorrow rolls down my face
A dread that I have been misplaced
Will you ever come for me?
Alone inside this empty room
I fear forever this is my tomb
A place where cries aren't reassured
A place where screams are never heard
In this place, it is hell
As my eyes begin to well
Drowning in my sadness here
Will you ever come for me?

| This is really good. I love the line "a dread that I have been misplaced" it sums up exactly how I feel. I look forward to reading your other poems. |
