A sad day has come to pass When the question must be asked Will you ever come for me? A tear of sorrow rolls down my face A dread that I have been misplaced Will you ever come for me? Alone inside this empty room I fear forever this is my tomb A place where cries aren't reassured A place where screams are never heard In this place, it is hell As my eyes begin to well Drowning in my sadness here Will you ever come for me? This is really good. I love the line "a dread that I have been misplaced" it sums up exactly how I feel. I look forward to reading your other poems.
