I sat there, by andimulder
|
I sat there, watching the people scramble for their
umbrellas and newspapers, anything to shelter them from the
howling storm.
And I heard the wind, its soft-harshness penetrating my body
with melodies from the past.
And I let the rain gently pound upon my head, the drops
acting as an anaesthetic to put my thoughts to rest.
I sat there, and I watched the world as it finally washed
away.
