Illuminated, by bedazzled
|
You embellish my dreams with each simple word,
Domineering my thoughts by the way I'm allured.
The elixir you provide sweetly heals the pain,
Helps me hold my head together when it begins to rain.
Although it may seem hard enduring hostile stares of ice,
Their judgement doesn't waver the way that you entice.
Immeasurably your kiss is worth every cold collision,
Each smile pure becomes my cure for the darkness in my
vision.
When the silver droplets encase me
In a world of misery
I recollect the chords
Of our amorous melody
I don't always know quite how to escape the blue
So in the pain I think of you
You illuminate me through
Sometimes it gets hard, the gold's always barred,
I get scarred and my hope gets jarred.
But you leave a pink bouquet of memories in my mind,
Helping me to realise what it is I need to find.
Your charisma radiates so strongly to me,
I'm captivated by the fact I'm the only one you see.
You chequered over every scribbled out repression,
Hold me in your arms, elevated from new depression.
When the voices scream
And reality becomes too real
I sink into your eyes
And the warmth you let me feel
I often don't know quite how to escape the blue
So in the pain I think of you
I'm illuminated through |
