*You are a part of me* (3), by *****Junior Walker*****
|
As water is to a flower
AS honey is to a bee
Is the same way
You are a part of me
I’m like your phone,
Lost without you.
I’m so incomplete,
I can’t live without you.
Sometimes it seems like
With every poem I send
My love for you grows,
Never wanting to end.
You’re what stars are to the night,
What beauty is to the eye,
What wings are to an angel,
Without you I may as well die.
And when there is no water or honey,
When there are no stars or beauty,
I’ll still be somewhere
Loving you unconditionally
Because even when my days are over
And my life here on earth is through,
I hope you’ll forever know
I’ll still be in love with you.
