honesty is the one thing
that while breaking your world
will fix all the problems,
if only...

if only we could be
loud enough
vibrant enough
for you,
our honesty to see.

we're trying to tell you
the truth of it all
we're trying to help you
fix all your problems
big and small..
like an anti biotic
to whats bad...
honesty kills.

idol lies
stall the truth
laying idol...
hiding  the honesty.
the honesty
that would kill the pain.
the honesty that would make 
all the wrong in your world
right again.

idol lies, smooth the tide
idol lies... are nothing good.

so throw out the bad medication
and bring in the good,
bring on the love and comfort
and the honesty
becuase for far too long
we've stood idol
lying and hiding
the truth from you.

all that did, 
was hurt us too,
and now dear friend,
we're going to be honest with you.
