Denni (3), by *****Junior Walker*****

I’m thankful for each coincidental moment
That I spend talking to a woman so real
Grateful for tasting the purest forms of honesty
Open is a window to your heart where I see what you feel
I pray that when I’m married
My wife will have at least one of you skills
If not the body or soul
At least a mind that doesn’t rely on pills
That said
I know you could never be replaced
You’ve been my guide
Through all the trouble I’ve faced
I introduce myself upset and/or angry
But then I talk to Denni
And then suddenly
I don’t feel crazy
I find happiness, advice and love
On another side of this ball
Proof if you need it that whosoever put us down here
Hasn’t since forgot about us all
If only I could hear
Your voice and your laughter
And am I crazy enough to picture seeing you
Straight after…
Probably.
So to let you know I treasure you
I had to have at least one poem
Dedicated solely to you.
