Shattered Glass (of Dreams Come True), by Loneliness is condescending
|
Lost with in this fragile simplicity
Eyes full of innocence and hope
Feeling the need to take them
One simple word brought the world crashing down
Blind youth could not see this happening
Eyes distorting every picture
Showing fields of flowers instead of black wasteland
Cooling thirst with cups of Ash
Suddenly lies reviled
Run quicker now try to catch that dream
The poison touch of love over powering the dawn
Slowly pick up the pieces
Each one cutting hands as a reminder of the pain
All around are the burning Embers
Hopes that cannot be rebuilt
Praying for the rain
To chase away these dismal clouds letting in the sun
Each night brings the sounds of mistakes
Weighting down this sorrowed heart
Voice resonating with sorrow
Time for parting goodbye's has passed
Wind howling through the stone tormenting the
Ear pressed to the earth
Is that you scratching at the lid?

I love this...it is so creativly written, and so meaningful. |

The last bit of it sort of confused me after the begining but maybe there is something i missed i like it though i like it much...depressingly good *grins* |

though since my last comment, i dunno maybe its just a strage mood of mine but i have a certain, uh, fresh sense of respect for this piece...if that makes any sense |
