Life's pits and obstacles.

What is this sadness in my very soul, What grievous sin have I done this very day, This good game of love turns now into horrid foul, How may I, who is a victim, at tis day, Think of thoughts that must be pure and joyous, But ends up coming back for more of it Turning it to a mind of disastrous chaos, Making me fall into a bottomless, dark pit, Tis pit, is much darker and dangerous, I then should ne'er have ended in pain, I ne'er should have been this desperate in life, Giving up friends, and friends should I have gain, Instead of this end of loneliness and strife, I must then give up my own plans Give to my Lord, my friends and life, And must then act according to His plans

This is a very beautiful poem!
It is well written, and the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
