Hope

Today I prayed to God
to speak to me through his word
In a time of chaos
and uncertainty
a spark of hope was born
in Mark 11
The spark then began to flicker
as the burden of my choices
were lightened by the memories of my faith
As the day begins to close
the flicker of hope remains.
