White lilies and bruised purple roses, by Lob
|
Watching the rain come down
As I stare up into the black clouds
Kneeling at your grave with white lilies and bruised purple
roses
Wishing I could have you back
To hold one more time
To touch your face and feel the warmth of your skin
Looking into the clouds
Feeling the rain mix with my tears
Kneeling at your grave with white lilies and bruised purple
roses
The rain shattering my heart with every drop
No sound playing in my head
Just silence and pain
Never knowing if id ever see your face your eyes your mouth
again
But wishing doesn’t do any good
It only keeps the pain locked up
Please set me free
Let my heart glide into the night sky and shine with the
moon
Kneeling at your grave with white lilies and bruised purple
roses.

I love it. This is so good. Not to pry, but it seems like a loved one died. Is it that, or is it kneeling at the grave of a lost love? Hm..... |

I liked it. The poem manages to convey a feeling of immense pain within the protagonist, that's such a high level of emotional pain it's actually become physical. Excellent job. |

Great job! it is really sad when someone we love dies. I think you did a really good job of conveying that feeling. |
