Turquoise, by bedazzled
|
Dappled light licks over your smooth skin,
Sleeping in every tanned curve.
Your warm eyes simmer, a hungry turquoise,
Devouring what you deserve.
Arms slide slowly around my waist,
Magnetising me closer to you.
Your breathing is weighed, secret smiles made,
As turquoise collides with blue.
Lips meet my neck with silent invitation,
Our voices effervescent, argue away.
I left the past in an empty espresso cup,
To stand in your arms for every turquoise today.
