My Morning Sun, by Chief Callahan
|
When I look in the morning sun I see your face
Your beautiful eyes shining down upon me
Every foot I plant on this earth, I want you there by my
side
Shadowing me through rough terrain
Guiding my way around treacherous pathways
Leading me over hilltops of glory
Comforting me in your warmth of the afternoon
Bathing my body with you ointment
Killing the weeds of my troubled past
Blossoming my flowers of prosperity
Producing fruits of offspring
I want you to lay down every night with me at the coming
moon
I want you to rise with me every time another day approaches |
