Story Teller's Warning, by thndrhwk
|
Listen now, if you would learn
Of the dreams for which you yearn
The tales which through all seasons pass
In many forms, until at last
They have gone round the world, that plague
Of half-gone shadows without age;
These stories have become my fate
Willing or not, and so I wait
For you, who have come to hear
Of these illusions, but beware
For once these dreams that silence fill
Can hold you close, and bind you still
They'll find the path between your ears and heart,
And though the memory of my words depart
You will always find them there.
So the spell is cast, story begun,
And Time herself begins to come undone. |
