By *~Kaylee Trissa~*

my head was spinning, i start to feel dizzy. my heart thumping, right thrue my shirt. i polish my flute, i make sure its in tune, i walk onto the stage, the curtains still closed. i hear people outside in the audience, trying to guess where my family would sit. i set my sheet of mind-boggling music on the old, mangled school music stand. the audience suddenly gets quiet. thats my final warning. i quickly straighten my posture, and smile as the red curtains slowly open, revealing me to the crowd.as i play the music, i slowly adjust, and i start to enjoy it all! by the end of the music, the whole 6th grade band does a huge cutt-off. a massive applause fills the giant auditorium, and i cant stop myself from smiling big and wide! the curtain closes, and i walk off the stage, still in shock. my family gives tons of hugs, and we go for ice cream. this is the life.
