Mary Go-Round., by blackflamingo
|
Around, around, watch Mary go round
Watch Mary run round the merry-go-round
Watch her trip,
Watch her fall,
Watch her mumble
And crawl.
Through the Carnival grounds
Past the merry-go-rounds.
Past the streets,
Past the towns.
Passing all lost-and-founds,
Trampled into the ground
By the kids running round,
Round the merry-go-round.
Lost in all of the sound,
Lost to never be found.
Never more to make sound
Never more to spend pounds
At the marry-go-rounds
At the carnival grounds.
Where the kids run around,
Round the merry-go-round.
