Why my life sucks

The flame inside of you was the hottest flame that I have ever touched It's warmth devoured the coldness of my heart Thawing my life with it's glow You made me feel so complete You made me feel so beautiful The fire spread to me through you I thought that love was pointless until there was you I cry for you at night My face is stained with those tears I tried to hold onto you tight To chase away my fears Soon we'll be drifting apart I can see it in your eyes And when you twist the knife in my heart Something inside me dies I heard words you said to me and I was blind enough to believe But what you pretended us to be was never what we achieved.
