Your Love, by Chalan
|
Your love is what helps
me make it through the day.
Without it my life would surely
fade away.
Love is what I see written on your
face, in your eyes and in your
gentle embrace.
Love is what I hear in your voice,
making my heart sing with rejoice.
With your love I can reach my most
challenging goals
and for your love I would walk
barefoot over broken glass and hot
coals.
Your love is what makes me feel
complete,
yet it leaves me wanting more.
And your love helps me through life's
roughest storms.
It's an addicting drug, so powerful
it clings to your heart.
and in my heart your love will stay
until death do us part. |

This one is great, I definitely feel that I can relate. Mostly to the fact that love is very addicting when you finally find that special person......so I believe it has the ability to inspire anyone to put their thoughts into words, no matter how talented you at writing poetry. Oh and thank you very much for the comment. |
