Why, oh why did You take her away?
How come You couldn't let her stay?
She was loved so deeply by everyone she knew,
Because of her goodness her whole life through.
She was always happy and never sad,
So why couldn't this have happened to someone bad?
She was so sweet and brought so much magic.
So why did it all have to end so tragic?
The night before she was so happy and full of love,
The less than a day later, away went her life on the wing of
a dove.
She was so quiet, but yet so kind.
The type of person you can rarely find.
She was a friend to everyone in school,
Even if the person wasn't exactly 'cool'.
She was such a special girl.
And was as beautiful and precious as a pearl.
She was on 15 and had so much to learn.
So why did it have to be her turn?
She had so much to look forward to.
And it's sad when you think about the things she'll never
get to do.
She'll never graduate and never drive,
Never get married and have kids to watch strive.
She'll never be able to tumble or do acro again.
And won't have anymore medals to win.
I know her life is much better with You.
And knowing this makes me feel less blue.
If You sent an angel to live here on Earth,
I'd say she was the angel from her birth.
She will have a place in our hearts from now on,
Even though it's still hard to believe she's gone.
She left before her parents and I know that seems wrong,
But while here on Earth she was very strong.
I know I'll get to see her again someday,
Even if that time is far away. ©
