What is Love?

What is love? Can it be defined? Is it in your heart, Or in your mind. Can it be seen, or is it only felt? Or do you try to hide it, Under your belt? Is love something small that could fit in a box? Or is it sly & trixie, Just like a fox? Could love be bigger than you and me? A mysterious force, That only a greater power can see. Does love just form, like a raindrop in the sky? Or does it start small and grow, Like you or I? Is love a guaranteed thing? Or do you have to wait until it's mature And blooms in the Spring? Can you say love is forever and true? When you see so many couples, Divorcing around you. Why does love control people's lives? And cause terrible things, Like men cheating on their wives. Does love lose it's magic as time ticks by? Or is love like a bird, Free to fly? Love doesn't end when your life disappears, But when you get to Heaven, A new form appears. Love can be such a wonderful thing, As long as you cherish it And let it carry you on its wing. ©
