The Thoroughbred, by FarmGirl
|
His long muscular legs and forward gait,
His spectacular races are never late.
His long, noble roman head,
His vigorous gallop always carries him ahead.
His thick bay coat and dainty step,
His glossy mane and tail are neatly kept.
His large friendly eyes with their soft stare,
His sharp alert ears make him keenly aware.
He ends his races in maximum might,
He conquers the world in his fiery plight.
His impresive, strong chest holds his pounding heart,
He is incredibly cunning and suprisingly smart.
His clean clipped cannons hold his power.
His dark silhouette over many will tower.
His endless source of vibrant energy,
His proud nature dispels lethargy.
His ringing neigh expresses success,
His unjust defeat would surely depress.
He's never less than three lengths ahead,
He is the courageous thoroughbred.
