I'll Always Be Here

By InLoveWithLoverBoy •
Farewell to you and I
I hope the good times never die
'Cuz I've already tried to keep them alive
All this time
Our lives will change
Times will changes
Our minds will change
Our minutes together
Will start to disappear
But I'll always be here
My love for you
Is as gorgeous
As an ocean is blue
That's the way I feel about you
So, I'll always be there for you
No matter what you do
I'll always be here
No matter where you might go
No matter where you have been
No matter who you've talked to
We'll always be friends
Yeah
We'll always be friends
'Cuz I'll always be here
When you're floatin' away in the air
With a balloon instead of your head
When you yell and you think I might leave
'Cuz of the way you've been treating me
LEAD SINGER: Think I'm gone yet? Nope, I'm still here. Riiight here.
OTHER BAND MEMBER: Man, what a loser.
LEAD SINGER: Hey, I heard that!
OTHER BAND MEMBER: *starts singing slightly off key* I'LL ALWAYS BE HEREEEEEEE!!!!

This is a song I might present to my band. It's not actually completed yet, but this is the most current version. It's basically about being friends with somebody, obviously. It's like when you feel like somebody's a really good friend and you just know that no matter what happens, no matter what they do, NOTHING can make you turn your back on them when they need you. They've always got your back and you've always got theirs. It's as simple as that.
That little part with the lead singer and the other band member is just a part I threw in. I thought it would sorta be funny. If we ever record this song, I'd be glad to throw that in. Hehe.
That part with the balloon, you know, "When you're floatin' away in the air with a balloon instead of your head." That's supposed to refer to when my friend was being an airhead. Haha. I think it gets the point across without being toooo harsh. What do you think?
So, please, tell me what you think about the whole song. Give me the truth, I can take it. Just please don't be nasty, if you think it stinks. Just say, "It stinks." And telling me why would be nice, too. Haha. Thanks!
