I had a dream
That you were with me
Doing things that i cant write
for those precious minutes 
i gave into my mind

But i awoke slowly
still feeling you
pressed against my back
your arm around my waist
kissing the back of my neck

I suddenly relise
how impossible it is
for you to be here 
i turn over slowly
hoping...

But no-ones there
as i stare at the blank wall
and the remaining 2 inches 
of mattress left
what?

Im confused 
fogged by sleep
and imagination 
your not here
