I never knew you, and now it's too late. So much left unsaid, as you enter Heaven's gate. Your life will be remembered, as well as your golden smile, That chased away one's sorrow, it never took a while. I can't explain the pain I feel, because it's more like regret, I regret not getting to know you, Still, I'll never forget. Your struggle now has ended, all is calm and silent here, But we won't let go, do not fear. Your life has had much meaning in the lives of others, The lessons you taught, were those of a mother. I'm sure you're watching over them, from the heavens above, And even still, they will feel, all your kindness, all your love. So spread your angel wings, do not fear, As long as you are up there, we will be right here. Remembering your face, your laugh, everything you are, Because we know, even though we cannot see you, you are not far. I never knew you, but it's not to late, Someday everything will be said, when I enter Heaven's gate.
