In My Dreams

Come join me in my dreams, where only can it be
That the world changes to fit a fantasy
Where hearts are made of solid stone that the strongest force couldn’t break down
Where mortals fly and flowers dance and not a single tear can be found
Come join me in my dreams where only can it be
That grass blades become platted in gold and diamonds become the sea
Waterfalls glisten even in the night when the moon comes out to play
Where all becomes perfection and insecurity is cleansed away
Where the clouds become our pillows and the sky creates our bed
Where thunder becomes our lullaby and lightning becomes a glow to light the night instead
Where trees grow candles of lovely scents to perfume the air we breathe
And every song sung by the wind becomes an enchanted melody
Where butterflies fly above us, replacing weapons of war
Where teardrops turn to rivers to replenish the bodies dying of thirst before
Where the sun turns down its harmful rays to save our skin from burning
And God becomes our teacher to prolong our minds to learning
Where every fear of conflict once stood will now stand the liberation of peace
Where every division of religion once stood will now stand only one belief
Come join me in my dreams where only can it be
That the earth is lost of every flaw and we reside in unity
