Found only in good-bye...[He smokes pot, she slits her wrists..]

<center><font face="arial"><font size="3">
He smokes pot;; she slits her wrists.
Yeah, they're both living for love that doesn't exist.
& she can still tell you about every little smile, every kiss.
And they've both found bliss in ignorance.
And it's the whispers in the wind that destroy her.
Lately misery is his only company, and it overcomes him.
Yeah, they both tell such leading lies;
To cover up the feelings of regret and sorrow that they despise.
So she's broken down on the cold, hard tile.
Pulling out her hair to ease that she's not sleeping again.
And her stomach's so empty, her mouth tastes vile.
It's really a shame that there's no reason left for her to smile.
And his face is white as cocaine
In his bedroom, he lies broken.
Tell me boy, what have you been smoking?
You're a wreck, and this isn't you.
She's got corpses in her mind
That she feels like everyone can see
They float around, so empty, but they never leave her be.
This time she's got her heart on rewind, and it seems they're never gonna leave.
He empties another bottle, he stumbles and he falls.
Her words are there in his head, he can't take this anymore.
He throws the bottle, and watches as it shatters against the wall.
With a final thought - she loved him - he falls to the floor.
She's walking out, once and for all.
With mascara tears rolling down her face.
She see's his face in her head; she stumbles and she falls.
Girls so far gone, and she'll be gone without a trace.
A raised voice, and suddenly he can't take it anymore.
He packs his shit and leaves.
He's on a road, he's on his knees, seems like he's been here a time or two before.
And for the first time in a long time, he bows his head and weeps.
She's skipping school and popping pills
She's not the girl she used to be
She's packed up, ready to leave, and a photo falls, flutters to the floor, and stills.
She glances down, and it hit her right where it hurt.
He gathers himself up, just in time, before he's seen.
He pulls a vacant face and his eyes are so empty.
His thoughts are in his head, every shout and every scream.
His mind and his heart, suddenly are no longer fifty-fifty.
She crams the picture in her pocket, and soon forgets its there.
She's running, from her thoughts, she's flying through the air.
Suddenly she stops. She's back at their old place.
She looks up, and her heart breaks, when she see's his tear stained face.
Absentmindedly, he wanders, to their old favorite spot.
He hears someone softly crying. Could it be her, or not?
Seeing her for the first time in a while, she's broken down and bleeding.
He knows her well enough to know that her heart? It's way past beating.
They tore eachother apart.
Day after day.
They made eachother this way.
But they're together in the end.
With heavy hearts and over-dosed eyes
They've always been what eachother despised.
Wether it's love or it's lust
It'll always be a secret to us
The kind of beautiful wreck you only see in pictures
They've made it, but the flame flickers.
There's drug overdoses and blood alcohol levels.
Together they'll reside, in the lair of the devils.
And with one last fleeting breath, they whisper
"I loved you..."
They hold eachother close, and together they fade, and die.
And there's that kind of decaying beauty;; found only in good-bye...
[[ I wrote this the other day. It's my longest and most peoples favorites. Based on what everyone goes through, what people see, how they feel, in a scenario that no one goes through and lives to talk about it. I can't really explain it.]
