I believe that angels choose us by the stories we create They come to us for shelter and remind us of our faith We can’t see them but we feel them and know that they exist And live inside our hearts to create the lives we live But is it really possible that these angels may take form May come to us as humans consisting of flesh and bone Could it be that you were my angel watching over me Knowing that I needed you and choosing to grow in my body Could my sweet little baby be more than just my child Could you be the angel that watched over me all the while Is it possible that you choose me before I ever knew That my life would soon be turned upside down with the birth of you Even if you aren’t the angel that has guided me through my life I feel you inside me and know that I am right You have to know I needed you because now my life will be complete When I hold you in my arms forever, the second part of me
