I look at the world around me 
And the 1 thing I see is people in a fight 
What happened to the love a peace?
It seems to have been blown from sight
People are raped and killed 
All the girls are on "the pill"
And those who aren't are 18 and a mother
There dads are gone so that's there only lover
People are shot and there are drug sellers
When bad things happen there are no tattle tellers
Our president can't take care of us
But somehow he has a lot of trust
Soldiers are sent to a far away country
And think that everyone has a money tree
Taxes are raised and so are gas prices
For our soldiers in Iraq to be ground into slices
So where did the love go?Why do people act like so?
Will the world ever be a better place?
Or will we always punch each other in the face
If the violence would cease to an end
Maybe God will then send
A message of him being proud that now
We shall live safe and sound
