Eyes Closed Wish

By BrwnEyes •
Summer Sun,
Beating down on our skin.
Smiles Exchanged,
Verbal banter no one wins.
Waves Crashing,
In the distance we hear.
Nothing else matters,
But the heartbeat in my ear.
Eyes firmly locked,
Memorizing faces.
Searching Depths,
And unknown places.
With our mouths,
We speak no more.
Using instead,
Our Awe filled Orbs.
You lean in toward me,
Making me shiver.
Our lips touch briefly,
But feeling like forever.
Every thing changed,
In that brief passing of flesh.
Now, dear, no longer,
Are you My eyes closed wish.
