Never see, never know

Alone in a corner, away from the crowd,
Afraid to say my feelings out loud.
Afraid to speak, too scared to cry
Afraid to let anyone inside.
Keep it hidden under lock and key
They'll never know, they'll never see.
Live my life as if nothings wrong,
Away from everyone, where I belong.
Slap on a smile, do a dance of joy,
The'll never know it's just a ploy.
Just keep it up, live my life of sin,
Never let them see what lies within.
Let them think it's all ok,
Struggle through another day.
And when I get home, and only then,
I'll shut my eyes and count to ten.
All the hurt will escape from me,
The tears will fall and I'll be free.
Another day over, one less to go,
They'll never see, will never know.
