i close my eyes as the rain pours down
i block the drugs n abuse all around
i run away from the pain i so fear
as the downpour washes away each tear
one night it all comes back to me
what i am now n wht i used to be
my conscience wont let me sleep
if it does nightmares leave me to weep |
