Well, my mother She was different With a smile To rival heaven And a voice That made birds Sing She knew just what to do To make me Do the things I do I can say it’s amazing But it was just instinct To make my mother Proud of me She could always Count on me She taught me “Don’t regret the past” That I’ll only Doubt what I’ve become What she made me You’re amazing So amazing Just amazing to me! … Well, my mother She was different With an infectious smile And a voice of true beauty Happy birthday To the one that raised me And taught me right from wrong Happy birthday Mother dearest
