I feel like im trapped in a realm of fate
I have the key but can't escape
The harder i try an turn the key
The more the key wants to turn me
I twist and prod to no avail
I cannot exit this prison cell
Bars of iron i built myself
I put me here with no ones help
So on this night i sit an pray
Lord how much longer must i stay
In this realm of no return
Where kind and caring all get burned
And all that's left is anger an rage
And me locked up in this cage
(LORD)
Im listening son to what you say
You simply truned thee wrong way
The lock is your soul the key is me
Open up your heart and you will be free
(ME)
So all this time i had the key!
But chose a life of misery !
Im listening now to what you say
And turning lord thee other way

| I wanted to note a couple of mispelled words, but other than that this poem is filled with heartfelt emotion and sorrow. I think sometimes one will never see the KEY as you have so elegantly written, until we are faced with our own self, that's when the Tuff get going and make that change permanent!
I think there is scripture for this as well. it seems like it is found in the bible under Phillipians 4:19 but i may be wrong about the where abouts of it, but it says: I can do all things through Christ whic strengthens me! YES! We can! :) Love Glo |
