As you are, by Caitlin_Californication

As you are
As you leave I taste the remnants of tongue and despair.
I watch you walk away and I smile at the back of you hoping
for you to turn and wave one last goodbye.
As you return I grasp you tightly and feel your long
forgotten warmth.
I watch you lift me up and I laugh with pure joy and a free
release of emotion and fulfillment.
As you love I can feel us moving together in a perfect
unison.
I watch you pull and slide and lift and feel the beautiful
bond of lust, love and fear we have both created within us
here.
As you sleep I see your face so serene and calm, my heart
swells at the site.
I watch you breathing so slow and smooth your body curled up
next to me and I pray I don't disturb you.
As you wake I smile and kiss you lightly, I love you at
anytime of day.
I watch you stretch and sprawl out and your arms pull me
onto you and you ask me how I slept and what I want to do
today.
As you smile I know that even though we have rough times you
are there.
I watch you lean forward to me and we kiss softly even
though we know we are being watched it doesn’t matter.
As you are is how I want you to always be; kind, loving,
graceful and mine.
I watch you change and form into a new and even more
wonderful person everyday and I am not afraid, I know I
won’t lose you.
