Across the light of breath, by .:side:walk:.

I don't know how to think
my preception is so dark and grey
I dont know the right way
watching the water go down the sink
those words are flat out infront
can't notice anything else
life is just a stunt
might not be false
walking up to a low view
facing towards me
this isn't anything new
the dark shadow is what I see
one deep breathe brings me up
to see the light
it lifts my feet
off the sullen ground
now I'm not in sight
twirling around
feeling fine
then comes the exhale
on the dusty ground
feeling cold
back down to my shadow
the darkness casts again

your message comes through so well! It is so hard to live life when we just don't know the right way. One thing I liked about this poem though, is that it plays on breath. Breath was given to all and the creator inspires life , poetry, happiness, joy, breathing, love. You have done well in this poem! I like it very much! glo |
