Weather Like War, by DarkEnvy
|
Like a war it raged across the sky
Making heavens above open then cry
Thunder clapping and booming like a bomb
Lightning dancing in clouds, it fears no - one
The rain like tears of angels themselves
Falling then crashing below creating spills
The weather copied the activity below
The men carried on with pride did those fellows
They troudged through mud bullets fired back
Will it ever end? Maybe down the track
Lives were wasted and sadness grew
Never shall we forget the ones we once knew
When weather was like war.
