Indelible, by bedazzled
|
Bloodstained panes filter light
onto the thoughts that hide
but can’t be hidden
underneath
nor inside-out,
darkly alluring.
Eyes, heavy, sink
towards the ground,
gravity hold no hope
within
cold magnetism,
cannot see.
Biting words draw
shadows to the surface,
ghostly reflections
smirk,
churning circles,
turning lines.
Once, there was,
now, there’s nothing
but delusional regrets
and painted skies
leaving new scars;
indelible.
