A Boom, by Not Over It
|
Screaming, Yelling, Tears being shed,
All I hear ringing through my head.
Paper flying, cascading across the room,
I'm witnessing another boom.
Hidden emotions leaping from every direction,
Not a single sign of remorse or affection.
"It's all your fault, It's always about you",
she screams, but it's just not true.
I try to fill her every demand,
but she wants too much from one set of hands.
I cannot look into her eyes,
because they drive fear and shivers down my spine.
I don't like these booms,
but the aftermath is worse.
I hate when she does this,
she says I'm the cause,
but there is nothing I can do,
because it cannot be my fault.
