my hearts tale, by sk8t3R gal 4 eva

i don't know how to start this off,
so I'll just try my best.
I just write down the words,
while my heart does the rest.
you were always ashamed,
never said "nice try".
you always looked embarassed,
whenever i walked by.
You're supposed to be supportive,
but you left me on my own.
you only laughed and criticized
at everything I've shown.
I'm sorry i can't be perfect,
I'll never be good enough for you.
every time i did something right,
i waited for you to disaprove.
i just wanted to make you proud,
but that's something I'll never see,
if you just watch for my mistakes,
then you'll never know the real me...
this poem is dedicated to anyone out there who's parents
don't believe in them...

Well, I really cant relate to this poem... I was luck enough to be blest with very supportive parents. However, I do know some people who haven't been as lucky... And I love the way that you have written this poem! Keep up the great work. you are extremely talented! |
