We shared all the moments
all the good and the bad
we were always together
either happy or sad

We would laugh so hard
until our faces would hurt
do you remember that tree
where I fell and hit the dirt?

Do you remember lying in bed
listening to the rain outside
when I used to sleep over
and laughing until we cried?

And us runing through sprinklers
for hours on end
and all those movies we made
naming them 'Best Friends'

Do you remember us waking up
and realizing we had a few more hours
but instead we kept talking 
about those moments of ours?

And then in the mornings
we would tell all our dreams
the stories went on forever
or so it seems

But I just wanted to say
I think of you all the time
and wanted to let you know
that your a buddy of mine.
