They see, these eyes They catch the lies They see it all The rise, the fall The hurt, the pain All over again They see the world Through this girl They watch the hate They see the fate They try ro believe And hope to succeed They follow along They point out the strong They understand They don't demand They watch success And the fall of the best And although they try Behind them hide The tears they cry From these eyes 9-6-07
