Rodrigo, by lacebutterflies
|
I always thought that my grandfather
Would be
Reincarnated into
A bulldog
or a lion.
So it surprised me greatly
To discover
That he came back
In the form of a rabbit named Rodrigo.
I knew that the rabbit was not
An ordinary rabbit when I first saw him.
I could see in the light of his eyes,
The shine of his fur,
That there was something mystical about him.
Rodrigo is a little scared of me.
Really, who can blame him?
It must be hard to go from being someone's grandfather:
relatively strong and wise,
To a bunny,
Small with short term memory.
