You Saw Right Through Me, by TigreDeVour
|
I smiled at you,
Gave a little shrug.
When you see through me,
Do you still spring for a hug?
I remember the look
On your shadowed face.
When you see through me,
Do you want to plead your case?
Your existence is still real
Your presence is near.
When you feel through me,
Do you want to be here?
I still want you by me,
I still want you around.
When you see through the smile,
Does it get you down?
I don't think it does....
Could just be me though.
