I hate when people lie to me I hate when they deceive They go behind my back And try to live my life for me They think that I won't act But, man, are they ever wrong I'm so much more strong So now I'm leaving, I'm gone I won't let you talk to me like that I won't let you tell me how to act I won't let you tell me who to see Or what to say when they see me I'm old enough to make my own choices Don't need to hear all your voices Copyright 2005 JEM
