poem, by a rose by any other name would hurt just as bad.
|
dip my heart in a vat of gold
show me pain both new and old
dye my soul the colour black
heat the cold that keeps coming back
make my pain from needles cruel
show me a world with endless fool
change my future to suit my needs
as long as your the wrong i keep
disappear for the longest nights
but only doing holy rights
beg my sanity to come undone
run away when its just getting fun
hype me up to cheer you on
fail completely then end up gone
you make every so good
just to tear it down
at the highest you stood
but now you drown |
