Keeping, by more then just that girl
|
You hide your heart.
From the pain,
That you felt when he stabbed you.
The joy,
Of all the good memories that you sheared in the tween
times.
The anger,
You had for him when he went around.
The fear,
That you have felt so powerful,
The arguing,
Over all that has been done.
If you keep your heart closed from the new person in your
life,
How do you expect,
To have a new pain,
The kind he protects you from when he picks you up when
you’re down.
The joy,
You have with him when you’re just talking about a movie.
The anger,
Over which movie was better when you get playfully angry,
The fear,
Of the day not lasting long enough.
The arguments,
Over the better food Chinese, or Mexican.
Be with the one you love now.

Totally relateable (if that's a word?!) I really liked it! |
