A New Life, by Felicia
|
She has a eternal longing for a life of perfection
But her all so confused mind extinguishes that thought
She feels the weight of the world on her sholders
And ramped decisions over come her
Pressured by the life of her parents
And scared by the reality it holds
Makes her cling to the life she knows
And forget everything that could be
Much older than her years she struggles
To find the answers to all life's questions
Witch gives her a feeling of disparity
And closes the door to a new life

Hello Felica! Thank you so much for the very sweet comment you left on my poem. Remember, Christ died for us, the least we can do is stand up for him. In His Love, Angel of music/Amanda |

this poem unfortunately depicts how many of us do or have felt in our own lives at one time or another. I believe that many of us seem to try and have perfection when the only perfect one I ever heard of actually walked on water and rose from the grave. I know we should be like that, but one day at a time and one thing at a time , will get us where we need to be. all in the right timing. Peace. Glo |
